Jami & Greg (Part 1) @ The Bridge

11 - 05 - 14

She asked him, “What kind of wedding would you want?”
He replied, “The one that would make you my wife.”

Jami & Greg got married at one of my all time favourite venues, The Bridge, in Muldersdrift. What made this day even more special, is that it was Mother's day as well.

I am always a bit nervous if I haven't met my wedding couple before the big day, but with Jami & Greg, I felt right at home. They are two of the kindest, most down to earth people I have ever met, and I enjoyed celebrating their special day with them!

I had a blast photographing the decor, as you can see below, it was something very special and different to what I normally find at weddings. Huge, pretty trees with fairy lights surrounded the tables in the venue, and on each table, beautiful plants, that Jami herself planted for the big day, made it picture perfect!

Other highlights of the day for me included the first dance (so well executed); the love that both families have for this couple (evident throughout the day - they really are close-knit); the 'fire dance' show later that evening; and of course, having such a awesome couple to photograph!

So without further ado, here are the photos, enjoy!

(please note: colours in photographs may vary on monitors not calibrated for printing - i.e. giving a high-contrast,
blueish and pale look to the photos which is not a true representation of the final printed product)
